How lovely it is to receive a beautiful hand made card in the mail! Even better, what a lovely surprise it is when you can peek inside and then open it to discover a thoughtfully designed card — inside and out!

This week, Jeanne Knobbe shows us how she designed this welcoming card using our “Home Sweet Home” Chandelier.

Home Sweet Home Window

Jeanne tells us she had a lot of fun putting this card together. She started by adding the beautiful brick patterned paper to the card and then layering the window box on it. She cut out the window panes to reveal the warm and inviting chandelier inside the home. The flowers on the window box brighten the whole scene! Can’t you just wait to open it up?

Home Sweet Home – The inside!

We were already impressed by the card before we opened it, but we were in for a surprise! The inside of this card is just adorable. The left side is lined with a paper patterned to look like wallpaper. The window section has a window frame overlay for a nicely finished look. The chandelier is “hanging” on the right side of the card  accompanied by the “Home Sweet Home” caption.  Jeanne colored the Chandelier with Copics and layered the panel with coordinating paper.

Just gorgeous!
