We are having all kinds of fun with our new vintage sets. The great thing about these sets is that they come with several images, including some coordinating small ones that can be used to create some great vintage background papers for your cards!
This is a very easy technique and can be done quickly – all you need is stamps, paper and ink.
- Select the stamps you want to use on the background (two to three designs) and randomly stamp them on a piece of white card stock. We used a Coffee colored ink.
- Run the ink pad along the edges letting it overlap a little to give it that distressed look.
- Lightly run the stamp pad over the paper to further distress the piece.
We used these backgrounds as layering for our Rose Vintage Cards Series pictured below.
